The MethodsNET Summer School with CEU 2025 hosted by the Central European University took place in the beautiful city of Vienna, Austria, 30 June to 18 July 2025

“The Summers School is an international and interdisciplinary experience. I really recommend it, especially for young scholars. MethodsNET is different because the focus is mainly on methodology and different models with lots of lectures and seminars and the opportunity to make some communities. I am already a part of the Mixed Methods Research Community and thinking of joining Qualitative Research. It’s really good because if you have any questions you can get answers from experts”.

Associate Professor, Summer School 2025 Participant

“The summer school is very focused. It is very different from other schools I have attended because it’s not about the what but about the how, in a very profound way. I was surprised about how relaxed it is with plenty of time to process what you are doing, but it’s still focused. MethodsNET is supporting young scholars. I think MethodsNET will continue to play a crucial role in providing students and young research with tools which they are needed”.

PhD Student, Summer School 2025 Participant

“I am taking two courses at the Summer School. The instructors are very prepared and know what they are teaching. MethodsNET is a young organisation with big ambitions, and I think so far they are doing well. I am surprised by the quality of the instructors but also the facilities here at this university are amazing”.
