Call for Individual Papers
Paper givers are encouraged to present innovative solutions to methodological challenges and introduce cutting-edge research. Two main types of papers are expected: (1) papers focused on methods, or (2) papers focused on empirical applications that exploit methods. In the latter case, the methodological dimension should be unpacked in detail in the paper. All methodological, theoretical and empirical approaches are welcome, across all disciplines. There are no predetermined panels, however accepted paper proposals will be grouped with others on the basis of the methodological approach they adopt. Participants will be expected to engage with the papers submitted by their co-panelists and act as discussants. During the submission process, let us know if you would like to be considered as a panel chair for a relevant method. You may only be selected as a chair if you join the conference in person.
Your Proposal Must Include
- Your details: full name, email, institution/organisation & current position
- Paper title (max 25 words)
- Paper Co-authors (if known)
- Full name, email, institution/organisation
- If they will attend in person or remotely
- Paper abstract (max 250 words)
- Name of the panel and panel chair if part of a panel proposal
- Paper type: methodological paper / empirical application paper

- If you are a MethodsNET member at the time of submission
- If you intend to attend the Conference in-person do you agree to be considered for panel chair in a panel about your method Y/N?
- If you intend to attend the conference remotely what will be your time zone during the conference dates?
